Install your Bluetooth hardware and its drivers. Download the latest versions if necessary.
Insert the software CD that was provided with your mobile phone and download the software. If you do not have this software, you can download it from the manufacturer's website.
If you are using Windows XP, click on your start menu, go to control panel, then Bluetooth devices.
Turn on Bluetooth on your cell phone. Ensure that it is visible to your accompanying devices. Also make sure that Bluetooth is enabled in both your system and mobile phone.
Click on your "Start" button and then your "Control Panel." Double-click on "Bluetooth Devices." Click on "Add Device." Once it is done searching, pick your mobile phone from the list

Choose any of the options on the list if you are prompted to enter a passcode. You may also proceed without using a passcode

Enter your selected passcode if you chose one, ensuring that it is the same one on your phone. Your mobile phone and computer can now communicate with each other

Run the software that came with your mobile phone. You will get options to "Backup" or "Sync" your phone depending on the software and the make and model of mobile phone
